Location: NJ | Back in the 80's, a friend of mine and I both took a late Spring Friday off from work and went to a Muppetts exhibit at the NewYork PublicLibrary at LincolnCenter.
Henson & Oz were there doing Meet&Greet, and did a few demos of what goes on "under the scenes" with the head-sets and the thin, black sticks that move the hands & such.
The best part was having ALL of the ACTUAL Muppetts out on display.
They had the entire "band" set-up like they were actually playing on a "stage". I mostly remember marvelling over the level of DETAIL used on "Floyd" the bass player! The intricate stitching on the brocade of his jacket, and that the strings on his bass had actual "windings" on 'em! . . . |
