Joined: April 2015 Posts: 13 | I have decided to part with my beloved 91 Adamas 1688-2 12er. Bought it new in 92 and used it only in the studio. Usual fret wear on 1st 2nd 3rd but an amazing action and not a single mark on her anywhere...immaculate. Asking $2400 and worth every penny then some. Hard shell Ovation Case and original manuals included. Lower 48 only. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Going forward, it's going to be more and more difficult to pry these types of beautiful guitars from their new owners hands. And as general interest has been growing, the prices are going up as well. I think this guitar is a great deal at this price, especially compared to what you would spend on a Taylor...

What I'd like to add is this...I've seen several top notch guitar bargains (including this one) here lately that our members just sit and watch. I'd encourage our members to move and take advantage of these great deals. The 1688 Max has for sale here is a phenomenal guitar. I just bought a 1688 a few months ago and I'm still blown away by it. These guitars will never be made again so you don't want to see it sold on Ebay and then think..."wow, I coulda, shoulda had that beauty!
