Starting to wonder. I looked at the 1618 on the O website, and it shows a carved bridge and truss cover. Could this be a 1615 with a GC truss rod cover?

Another example of errors on the site...that is a 1658 slothead Custom Legend.

They have the correct picture on the 2006 COMMEMORATIVE MODELS

Thanks Tony. I thought that neck looked like a Legend piece.

That's The same model that my dad helped me buy,
My first Ovation. Wish i could bid but finances just won't allow it. Since Daddy Died I've been sentimental about the GC 12. I wish i still had mine. It would remind me of Daddy everytime i played it.. but it would be sucha warm- neat memory. maybe someday.

Looks like Jim takes the lead as of this moment.one bid cancelled for having O- feedback and another bid retracted.still some time left so anything could happen.

Well, I'm not really going to go all out on this one. It's nice, but I would have to sell my 1115 to justify it, and I really like that one. The only thing this has going for it, in my opinion, is it is a natural finish, which I like more than the sunburst on my 1115. Time will tell.

I'm really liking this guitar. It would be a match for my legend, if I can find a way to get it. I don't have a paypal account or a history or nothin.

Would anyone in Oregon/Washington like to be my mule/bidder?

No, I quit. I set a limit and this time I'm sticking to it . I would have gone 550.00 but as it is, it's not worth more to me. I already have a 12 that I love and if I bought this one I would have to dump the other. Besides, I've got my eye on another 6 string now..... :D

The way it looks now, this thing may top 600. BTW, the guy is charging 60 bucks to ship it and that doesn't include insurance. I contacted him and he said I could have it insured "if I wanted to" which would mean to me, "it costs extra". Thats a lot to send a guitar ground.

Well I tried to snipe it at the last moment but Ebay was acting up (has been for the last few hours). I got one bid in that pushed then brought another bid to $597 but when Auction sentry tried again it said there was a congestion problem so it slipped away to the winner (Jeff in the UK: Weston Super Mare). Oh well maybe next time :-)
