Nice 00 size guitar, Morgan Monroe Blues 32 with one of the best hard cases you will find around. Nice burst, and a very nice player. Makes a great camp / beach guitar at a good price. I've had this one for less than a month. Very much like my blueridge, so one has to go. 375.00 shipped conn. US.

I'd be all over it, but I just pulled the trigger on a Takamine OM, and I'll have to wait a bit for something else. Besides, I'm really considering one of the new G406S New Yorkers...

+1

Besides the case is worth at least $100 of the asking price.

Morgan Monroe and the Epiphone Masterbilt series are underrated brands of guitars,(a lot like Ovations).

Most of you have heard me bragging about Morgan Monroe guitars. I can tell you this is a sweet little guitar, would make a great finger-picker. And the case is seriously the stongest I have ever seen. I mean you could jump up and down on it and never hurt it. Lots of grey fuzzy stuff on the inside, and a built-in hygrometer. And this is a great price! Somebody ought to jump on this.

Jim,

What is the width of the neck, wide or wimpy?

Well, if you call an Ovation wimpy, than that's it. Has a little of a V to it, and is very comfortable. Allison is right, just for kicks, I put the guitar in the case and stood on it last night. I didn't jump, but it did support my weight easily with no damage. The case is kind of overkill, like the 97 collectors.

There's something just so very wrong with that...

Back in the 70's my dad had a Vox 12-string acoustic that had an aluminum hardshell case. Apparently the claim was that you could drop it out of a helicopter and it would stay intact. Somehow, I can't see actually trying that one out...

Put this one on Craigslist yesterday along with the Blueridge, and within an hour, got one of those, "I'll send you a check and have a mover pick it up as I am too busy with a job change" things on BOTH guitars from the same "person". Don't these scammers ever give up?

If it's the one I think it is, please hold on to it long enough for me to try it out!
