Hi all,

New to this forum, old to most of the others

Just bought a near mint '06 1778T Elite last week after selling a couple of recent Collings. Collings are astoundingly well made but I've been playing more electric of late so they needed to go to players. Picked up the Ovation and honestly it sounds really good, absolutely more bass than the Collings (though Collings are known to be more mid-rangey anyway), I am really pleased with it.

Soooo pleased....(cue GAS music here)....there's a "vintage" 68 shiny-back listed locally in very nice shape for the US equivalent of about $375. Has a couple of the standard top cracks, and not sure if the rosette is lifting as these older ones apparently do.

So is this a steal of a deal or just normal pricing?

Thanks!

Always depends on condition.
If it is in good shape, it is a Steal.
