I have a model 1761 Standard Balladeer. The volume slider has come completely out of the OP-24+ preamp. I'd like to try to fix this myself, but I don't see a way to remove the preamp from the side of the guitar.

Does anybody know how to remove an OP-24+ preamp, or know of a way I can fix my volume slider?

Hi, You have to remove the little slider knobs and then the label that says Op-24+ is a sticker that has to come out. Gently remove the sticker and there are 4 screws underneath that attach the preamp to the mounting bracket.I don't know if there's much that can be fixed but at least that will get the preamp out.Good Luck
