Headblock holes

Subject: Headblock holes

On older Os there are two holes in the headblock. I don't know if that was to somehow assist in alignment or just somewhere for the excess glue to ooze out during assembly..?

Does anyone know when they stopped making them with holes?

Beal knows... my opinion is they were Epoxy innies and outies.

Later K bar bolt ons used the same geometry.
