After reading Walter Carters "History of the Ovation Guitar" he stated that Jim's Ovation (legend) survived the crash and that his wife Ingrid sent the guitar back to Ovation. Is this fact or fiction? Why would she do that? Where is the guitar currently? If true, this is strange that this piece of music history took this course. Any additional info out there?
