I have a new Adamas SMT which did not come with instructions on how to use the pre-amp. I see that the button to turn on the chromatic tuner also says CAL. How do you use this to calibrate the tuner to a different reference?
Thank you in advance,
George

I haven't used this function so when all else fails RTFM. If I'm reading the manual correctly this is slightly different to other tuners where you can specify an exact frequecy other than 440Hz. Basically you tune any string to the pitch you need (say for example if you need to play with a piano that has drifted slightly from concert pitch) activate the tuner and let it recognise the note, it doesn't matter if it shows sharp or flat. While it's locked press the tuner/cal button again. The tuner is now calibrated to the new relative pitch. This "offset" mode is indicated by a double flash of the OK LED in standby. I've just tried this on my SMT & it works fine.
