Location: Texas | As some of you regulars may know I just bought a great 1975 model 1112. My question is...on the bottom side of my guitar is a smooth spoth spot which seems to be some sort of sticker for lack of a better word. It is 28 years old and is bubbling up. I want to remove this with a scalpel and replace it. Does Ovation offer a replacement for this piece or do I need to make my own? I just want to make sure I don't screw anything up . Can I use Acetone (aka nail polish remover) to get rid of the glue without messing up the finish on the back of the bowl?
Thanks,
