does the op-X have sweepable mids? how does this preamp rate against the others? which years were they used? thanks guitar buddies!

None of Ovation pre's have sweepable mids. The OPX has 2 mid bands (600Hz & around 6K I think)as does the Optima & OP50. The OP24, OP30 and OP40 have a mid shift where one of 2 midrange centres can be selected. I think it's a big omission that the new preamps didn't include a sweepable mid.
