...for those of you who haven't requested the line of Ovation catalogs from the mothership, they are worth having.
Mine came today and the guitars are presented better than the web page. A good addition.

Stephen,
Just give the factory a call on the 800 line and there is a dedicated voicemail box to request catalogs. They are quick to get them out too.

What I need is for some kind soul to get these for me and then mail them on when I send you some dollars. We can't get them over here ( leastways the last one I managed to get is the 2000 edition).
I have some used underwear from Richard Thompson if anyone wants to trade (I'm keeping Linda's).

Perhaps you could contact our own Master Templeman over there in the UK. He's an Ovation distributor, and perhaps can getcha' a catalog.

Keep the underwear away from him though, . . .

. . . he's been known to use 'em as headgear . . .

With my taxes completed this day and the sense of euphoria that follows, I will happily advance catalogs to you, if you send me your vitals, for only the cost of future consideration for say, a certain BBC special referenced in an earlier post.

No need for the knickers, I have a small square of tiolet paper that was stuck to his shoe as he exited the lou in the Senator Theater in Baltimore those many years ago.

...shoulda seen the look on his face as I lifted his leg like I was shoeing a horse as he was starting the intro to Beat the Retreat.

I tried that once with Wynonna and nearly got six months.

My vitals are yours for the abusing and the dvd is yours if the beeb ever gets round to repeating it and I'm at home/sober enough to record it (basically you should ask my kids not me).

The actual distributor for all things Kaman in the UK is a gang called John Hornby Skewes. If you want a laugh go to:-

www.jhs.co.uk

although they do have Ovation wallpaper.

Wow - I just previewed this and I got the web address/URL?thingy right.

I may have another go at the quote whatdoyemacallit.

Don't have a scanner at work. Can scan it later this afternoon and shoot it to you then?

Thank you!

The catalog pics did indeed inspire considerable GAS!

Question about the 12 String Elite T - Is it the same neck and bowl used in the Elite LX? I believe it is.

The brochure says it uses the advanced neck system, same as the LX's. The O website says its a slim profile neck that appeals to electric guitar players. No mention of the 12-string at the website.
