Same address: http://www.ovationguitars.com/ Also... They are still building this website, so some pages and images aren't there yet. You can watch stuff slowly appear. It has been very useful and valuable for me in identifying some older vintage Ovations I own and/or have picked up of late. I have a 1979 year 1651 Legend LTD guitar, a 1979 year 1617 Legend, and a 2001 year 1867 Legend AND I've just recently picked up a project.. ANOTHER 1979 year 1651 Legend LTD guitar, but it needs some work. The bridge is torn of (not sure how that happened) and it has a long crack on the top from the sound hole down. There's some really good Luthiers in my town that I'm going to let have at this baby. I might end up spending more than some people might, but I'm pretty certain by the time all is said and done, with repaired, new finish, new gold plated tuners, and some spit and polish, I'll probably have around $500 into it... maybe a bit more, but there's just something about these old Legends that I really like. Here's hoping Ovation puts everything back where it was as far as the archive photos and info AND all the other very useful resources and such. COME BACK! PLEASE! SillyLittleBoy

Throw in some completely wrong information and it's JUST LIKE the old site!

Now I've archived all the pages for myself, so I won't be quite so bummed if Ovation Guitars themselves don't happen to build their new site with everything the old site had AND MORE! I really loved the fact that they provided so much "discontinued product" information, such as the Excel spreadsheet and the "Crack the Code" serial number decoder. Ovation... .you've been so good to us thus far, so PLEASE don't abandon us and become "just another guitar manufacturer's website," cause after all... you're OVATION and I'm just a... HERE are some details and photos of the contour one from Sweetwater. Al could probably get you one. OR... Al has one of the custom-made Koala guitars that was the original model.
