For those of you who recall and/or contributed to the gift of appreciation we sent to Jerome, (his "remodeled" Adamas protype #11, plus an "Alpep Special" carbon fiber Ovation case, plus shipping to France), I sent the balance of the funds collected to Jerome's friend, Tom, today. Tom will be presenting this to Jerome as an expenses paid trip to the eastern part of France for the annual Guitar Picker's Association Festival later this month.
Enjoy, Jerome!

Very cool.
Say what you want about the internet, but when a laid back dude in Hawaii can help make a Frenchman happy, that's really cool.

Thank you very much to all of you and to Randy!! :)

This gathering in Eastern France is the highlight of the year for me because I'll be with friends and great guitarists.
Lots of Ovation will be there but also some other great guitars.
I'll take pics and videos and I'll share them with you when I'll be back at the end of August.
Of course, I'll bring the Adamas Proto #11 with me (and some other nice O's) and I'm sure that the guys will be happy to see and play it, I really love this amazing guitar!!

Thanks again.

J :)

I'm back home and this edition of our gathering will stay among one of the best!!
I've had enough courage to go on stage and to "play" a tune with my friend Rémy.
It was my first time and I was so anxious that I forgot half of the chords of the tune but it doesn't matter, it was a great moment for me.
Fortunately, there's no video of this moment!! :D

Here's a video of my friends Rémy and Pierre playing together on my Adamas guitars (Nylon strings and Proto #11).
PIERRE AND REMY

It was great to be a part of this very nice event.

Thank you

J :)

PS: I had 4 O's guitars when I went to the gathering and 5 when I was back home...
Some pics will follow soon but my new babe looks like the one below. ;)

Surprised it was your first time playing on stage. It may be nerve racking but it shows you that everybody is pulling for you so it gets easier next time. Sounds like a wonderful time.

We had great times last week, so many good memories with such good friends and so many beautiful guitars ! I came to the gathering with guitars I love (and not only me) : Paul Moody's cutaway country artist 1674... and Jerry Reed's Dave Plummer guitar...she is now in France in my home !!!!!

Nice job gentlemen! I wish I had learned to finger-pick like that when I was as young as Pierre…
