Ok, I really need to give an explanation for the reason I buy and sell so many guitars....well...uh... The guitar stores around here really don't have many to try out, so I buy one on line, try it, and if I really don't fall in love with it, I sell it. Yeah,...thats the ticket.

You see I gave up listing them, cause I have to change the listing every week. :p

At least it's guitars - a lot cheaper than wives. ;)

Be interesting to see how high the bids go on this one... This guitar in good shape is rare. It would be worth it to buy it and have Ovation restore the finish. An original case would be a plus. I wonder if an OFC member in Ft. Worth might get this one... ;)

There is absolutely nothing I can see about the finish on this guitar that woulld warrant refinishing it.

Just keep the extra money on your pocket and enjoy the character!

There's a Tornado listed as well that does have some finish issues:

Just FWIW that second one is a Thunderhead /Tremolo. Note the pickups and gold hardware, "Deluxe" on the headstock etc...

Wayne,
In the 10th photo, I noticed the scratch on the edge of the lower bout between the knobs and the tail piece. Other than that...

I had it bid up to 570.00 but didn't want to go any higher. It's nice, just not my cup of beer.

Nice price, but who knows what the winning bedder was willing to go up to. I'd say they got a deal.

I've been watching that other thunderhead for a while now and hoping nobody else would notice it (stupid thought huh?). My only problem is I have no idea what a thunderhead in this condition is actually worth. I really like the lighter colored ones, but I am seriously considering throwing in a bid.
