I replaced the black plastic tuner buttons with Ebony ones. The original electronics quit working a long time ago, so I installed an OpPro with 1/4" and XLR. OHSC. $500 + shipping. Ask me and I'll email pics to you. John <>{

The 97 has been on my list for a long time, but I haven't played the ones I have much since I started trying to learn some electric guitar stuff. I hate to see them hanging there. But golf season is about over and football season is going. I've learned a lot of fingerstyle stuff while watching football games. So, Patch, are you going to save me from this one?

Fortunately, I looked at the balance in my checkbook first, but if you hadn't jumped on it, I'm afraid that the IMBALANCE in my willpower would have trumped the BALANCE in my checkbook. Enjoy it!

My financial gears were turning, I could smell rubber burning... while the other part of my brain was telling me that I have many guitars and $0! Thanx for ending that problem for me. :cool:

I've let three, count'em, three of these come and go over the years. Each time thinking I'd be able to replace it down the road. Well, consider them replaced! :cool: John made absolutely NO MENTION, I mean ZERO REFERENCE, to the fabulous silking in this one's top. And the finish has more amber to it than the others I had. They were gorgeous instruments in an elegant, understated way. But this one is really stunning up close and personal, with a vintage look that many Ovations just can't touch; definitely one of those guitars that photos simply can't show to their full advantage. And I might add, the photos were plenty good enough to throw a monkey wrench into my fundraising efforts for my nearly-complete factory projects. Suffice to say, I'm quite pleased. If any of you have the opportunity to deal with Bauerhillboy, proceed with confidence. The man said he thought the top was pretty. The man has a gift for understatement. Thanks again John! :D

Don't worry, I can't let autumn lift off in the Hudson Valley without finding a reason to take photos. It's a sickness second only to GAS.
