Location: Scotland | There's several. Shubb would be my first choice, Paige and G7 are good too. Some of the the Planet Waves capos seem like a good designs though I haven't tried them myself. Personally I won't use a non-adjustable capo such as a Kyser or it's various clones. A capo needs to be finely adjustable to work well. |

Location: Portland, OR | Don't know why but I had trouble on my GC 12 string with Shubb. Neck may be different. I recently got a Dunlop of the proper size and it works well, but you use your left hand to set it. Just have to get used to it. |

For the price I was disappointed with the G7 for a 12 string. I use a G7 on my 6 string with no problem but the 12 required more pressure. |

eSPEcially on a 12-string.
I use Kysers on the 6's, only because they're "quick".
Ovation 12-string necks are "weird" (t'me, anyway) for capos. Shubbs work for me.
G7's are nice, but it's like tying a big-ass, deep-sea sinker to your headstock . . . |

That's the point . . .
. . . it just FEELS like it's hanging from your headstock.
(especially on the SlotHead, as there's just no significant "body weight" to counter it . . .) |

All I ever use! I have my Shubb pack always handy and spares in the case pockets!
I tend to like the old style better: I have a Shubb brass 12 string capo that I've used for over 15 years..... |
