...when our bass player starts playing , I'm getting some nasty feedback. What do others do for the 2080 and for the Adamas with epaulets ? Thank you.

Regards,

Tom

Does it have a Notch Filter??

If not, a Behringer "Shark" is a possibility . . .

The cheapest way is a 2x4 upside the bass player's head.

Our bass is always too loud. Doesn't seem to have any impact on my gear or sound.

Altering the positioning/proximity of the guitar and the bass cabinet might help . . .

cliff,

Thanks.Right now it's just at our practice location so I could just be standing at the crest of the bass wave. I'll try a standing in a different location and see if that helps. I know just a few feet should make a big difference.

Regards,

Tom

Y'could also MAKE a temporary FeedbackBuster by cutting piece of heavy cardboard to size/shape and tape it over the opening (from the inside) with some masking or gaffer's tape . . . .

"Crest of the bass wave" sounds like a good song for the next OFC cd, Doc.

I think taping the the bass player to the wall with gaffers tape is probably the best solution !.

any workable solution has to have gaffers tape in it.

or wrapping the bass player in the mattress with gaffers tape. The possibilities are endless

Just don't assume like I did, before I knew any better, that duct tape is "just the same" as gaffer's tape. Gaffer's tape is magic, duct tape sucks ;)

Well, actually, you'd probably WANT to use duct tape on the bass player... save he gaffer's tape for the 2080 :D
