I gather that the OFC membership rolls are rapidly approaching #8,000. If I recall correctly, members put together a prize package for member #7,000, a Russian lass who expressed appreciation, then disappeared. Are there plans afoot for #8,000? Or, chastened by #7,000, are we going to await the magic #10,000?

Perhaps a hand-signed, studio version cd of your famous hit song, "Drill, ye terriers, drill", plus a video of said terrier doing his drilling would be appropriate.(or inappropriate, depending on what he's drilling)

Lol! I get more mileage out of that one!

Hey! Those CD's are worth a LOT! ... can't just GIVE 'em away to any ol' rapscallion who happens to get lucky and be #8,000.

(and it's "tarriers," ya slacker, ya!)

85% of the people who register never contribute anything. Of those that do partake there's a fair number that we wish wouldn't. So basically you got a pretty sure bet that lucky numero 8K turns out to be a total fooking douche bag.

Yeah, I'd think I'd contribute to a prize pack for that.

In that case, leave out the video of the dog.

Normally, I'd say "First time, shame on you. Second time, shame on me!"

But, for the 10,000th, I'd gladly contribute sumpin'...

I'm still wondering where are the songbooks I sent. I really hope someone is using them for something other than rolling Russian cigarettes.

That was under communism.

Now it looks like Chicago with a bad/worse attitude.
(But those Georgian girls still knock me out.)

All the old Russian people that I have met didn't leave Russia cuz they were running from Communism.
There are running from laissez faire Capitalism and corruption in the present state.

I sense a consensus developing here: stung by the diffidence of Miss #7,000, the OFC will await #10,000 to put together another ceremonial prize package...

Before this diverts any further I'm just going to close it... a topic to be revisited in about two years.
