This time the Martin Rep was there and he brought one of the new "PERFORMING ARTIST SERIES", I think this model was a GPCPA4. I figured I would help the guy out and play the model he was demo'ing. It was a pretty decent low end Matin, built in tuner which is kinda of inovative for Martin, all solid woods, list price around $1500, I am sure you could bring it home for much less. The plugged in tone didnt really wow me though, sounded like so many other piezo pickup guitars. I feel kinda funny bringing my own guitar into an open mic at a music store. After all the guy is hosting the event to sell his guitars. It's also a great chance to sample some of the great instuments out there. If you are in SE Michigan Huber Breese is a first rate store with a huge selection, and Paul Huber is a first rate guy to do business with.

Twistedlim and I bumped into each other seeing Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt (another great acoustic Guitar Duo). Hopefully we can all get together soon and make some music.
