Yes! But! With the falling dollar, I would rather have my money in Guitars.

To paraphrase Freewheelin' Frank (Freak)...
"Guitars will get you through times of No Money better than Money will get you through times of No Guitar!"

When I get a Breadwinner, I want the Full Battle-Axe edition!

Probably went cheap because they don't even know if the electronics work, missing the back plate, no strings so possible warped neck....

I think they got a good price based on pics and description.

Stephen you may be right, I just hadn't seen one anywhere near that price, especially with case.
I didn't looked knocked around.
I would have bid if I could. I have a back plate and some electronic spares.
I paid nearly twice that for mine.

I know a few here that have those necks, and deluxe necks, nos shaved deluxe necks, pickups etc.... laying on ping pong tables and on shelves... so even a warped/twisted neck or hardware, would be any problem for a member here.. or the backplates or nuts... the big issue with these is always the pcb and preamp/pots... wasn't someone here trying to build a replacement and or workarounds for repairs here?

Glenn

btw hope it was one of us, and GREAT DEAL!

What a steal!! Pretty familiar seller. Betcha this one was owned by one of our own not too long ago who may be able to elaborate on the condition. Then again, maybe it's better not to know...

I couldn't resist Arthur's limited last month which went for slightly more (OK, a little more than slightly - unless Bill Clinton is defining the term) - but worth every penny!! THANKS ARTHUR!!

I didn't even see it. Was that a 1/2 hour auction? It's not like I haven't been looking...

It was on for a while, I saw it over a couple of days at least.
I paid not a lot less than that for a busted ass BW project and no case.
Well as long as someone here got I don't feel quite so bad.
Good get!!

hey Jas, sorry about your not feeling well... were you ever able to resolve the issue with that seller and the Adamas? or on your 1114?.... and now the ltd.. really sux man, really sux,...again

I really hope you're better soon.... I can't stand throwing up, even listening to someone throw up makes me throw up, I'd better quit, or I might just throw up.

Jim, you still have JR's Deacon (one of the rarest and most historically significant Deacon's ever made) sitting in its case still waiting for you right here.

Good, your gonna love this one Jim.
As for the Guitars, I would say there will be some good deals coming out of the USA for a while. Good time to buy the good ones if your an investment kinda guy. Good time to buy one if ya just want a good player as well.

Especially you who do not live by the value of the US dollar! Enjoy.

Well the exchange rate is better than it was.
Hit 95c to the $US today, highest for 24 years.

But the freight is still a killer.

All I need to do is stop helping my kids out.
