The Fishman Acoustic Performer Pro is one of the best sounding solo acoustic amps I have owned.

For what they are worth, here are the Harmony Central Reviews:

Acoustic Performer Pro Reviews

I have finally decided to sell this one because 1) I have too many amps and 2) I have too many amps, and 3) I have too many amps!

It is compact and fairly lightweight and comes with a nice padded gig bag. It has a few nicks and paint scratches and a few of the pots are scratchy but nothing that couldn't be touched up with either a black sharpie or a bit o'paint and some pot cleaner.

For it's size it is extremely loud and clean and has enough power to comfortably fill a small venue (or bedroom) with both guitar music and vocal accompaniment.

You don't see these very often and when they do show up they are either beat up (from all the gigging) or expensive.

They sold new for over $1400 and most pundits feel that Fishman stopped production because the cost to build them made them too expensive for most people......so they came out with the "loudbox" series.

I know that Noah (Bruce) has several of these and I believe we both feel that the Acoustic Performer Pro blows away the current crop of Fishman amps.

As always, I offer it here locally to the masses at what I think is below market.....but if it doesn't sell fairly quickly it will go to ebay where I expect it will fetch $650-700 fairly easily.

To my OFC brothers: $550 + shipping

Hey, Stephen, when did you pick up the AAD Cub? How do you like it? How's it do against the Fishman (although I might propose one conclusion from what you're ofering for sale).

I wanted one of these back when I was in the market but the finances kept me in the $700 range. I bought the peavey ecoustic for $600 as it had three channels and 100w and it does sound great and really cranks when the rest of the band starts turning up at the end of the night. The fishman would have been better though for my solo stuff. I am interested I am trying to see what I can shuffle around. Shipping will be high on this I'll bet to Upstate NY 12134.
Anyway sell it if you get an offer. Just want you to know I am working on it. Genz Benz amps are nice too but monitarily prohibitive.

Brad, picked the Cub up used about 4-5 months ago (shortly after Christmas) .

To be honest, the Fishman or the Cub are both wonderful amps with the Fishman getting the nod for versatility and built in effects and being able to use a microphone, etc.,etc......but I have the GB that also has all of those features.

The Cub is smaller and weighs about 1/3 as much as the Fishman.

Really....just like I said, too many amps so something had to go.

Is the ADD Cub the amp you picked up from Gary at GuitarX or was that another type?

Yes, from Gary at GuitarX, but he had already closd his store and was doing only Internet and word of mouth sales. The fact that he even still had one was pure luck. He was in total liquidation mode.

Ahhh my friend Noah.........Still have a great old beat up, cracked up, abused and misused cedar top classical from Noah. It does not get as much attention as the other guitars but it is one of the coolest dam guitars I have ever owned.
Proof of Ovations indestructable nature.
I was just trying one more weak attempt at humor there with selling my amps but I am still fairly interested in these older Fishman setups. Thanks Stephen. BTW ...Ended up with a Dean double neck in a trade deal thing so I am not searching right now but your Ibanez is still very much on my mind. The Dean is built amazingly well by the way.

Yeah I know.
People just don't believe me when I tell them I am offering something up to the members for a hellofa price. Usually a lot less than what I would make off of ebay but I got my use out of it and it was a great amp. Time to pass it on.
