Joined: August 2003 Posts: 2246 Location: Yucaipa, California | It just occurred to me that my musical career seems to be fully engaged in a downward spiral: I’ve gone from 1) the lofty heights of South Dakota Saloon Band (Medicine Springs Band) guitarist, 2) to Church Special music, 3) to Assisted Living Facilities musical programs, 4) to Alzheimer Units musical programs, 5) to Donut Shop Jam banjoist 6) and this weekend a Cemetery graveside funeral Gig for three "Special musics" and "mood" music...yikes! Is there a message here that I'm supposed to understand? Oh! How the mighty have fallen!

But he ended with millions of fans who were teenagers who he was old enough to be thier great grandfather. I was was workin when The Gary Rossington Band played to handfull of people at West Hartford Agora. I believe there was 24 paid tickets in a building that held 5000. I'm in a slump right now myself.
