I really like that sound...using the nylon really gives it a kind of percussive sound. I would have never thought of that.

I've only seen one other blue Viper, and I bought it as soon as it became available. It isn't nylon, though.

I've got 2 steel string 'tamo ash' blue vipers..got one from a guy in Montana who didn't have a case for it ...$500 with a gig bag including shipping..he needed the dough...I think I got the other from a guy in Michigan..that nylon one Yngvie has is TASTY!! Too bad he can't play LOL

I've kept photos of the tops of the blue tamo ones throughout the years. If you email me photos of your tops, I'll put it together with what I have and we'll see where they've been. It might give us an idea of numbers.

One of you guys have a flame sycamore that I had here years ago.
