If I hadn't just jumped on Crazy Alpep's House of Vintage Guitars crazy special deal on the Studio, and I wasn't saving up for some Goldtop Something-or-Other (or was it a Junior, Al? Good luck with it...that is a very nice looking jazzbox, mon frere!

But maybe some of those memories are better lost that kept. The real value is in the story, not the guitar itself. It's a really nice Thead but honestly I bet it's had 15 minutes use in the last year. It deserves to be played and I'm really not that bummed about "throwing it back". It's a guitar. The gut wrenching was during the last few days mulling over should I sell it or not. Once I made up my mind, took a few photos, and made a web page it was all pretty much water under the bridge. I'll miss it, but not regret it. There's new fish to catch.
