| If any one is interested, I put my 1768-SA7 up on eBay
The history of this guitar is ‘generally’ true I think. However if not, I’m sure I’ll here about it. Whatever the real story, the point is this is a great little guitar you don’t see every day.

Location: Phoenix AZ | Very nice guitar. But personal opinion, I really don't like the monochromatic epaulets. Imagine how nice a guitar like this would look with no epaulets. Just the sound holes finished in the same binding as the body. That would in my opinion be stunning. Dave |

No epaulets -OR- highly figured exotic wood epaulets would go nicely with that beautiful bearclaw spruce!
But it's to late to change that now!!...It's still a gorgeous guitar! |

I don't understand why Ovation didn't use a dark ebony bridge on the 1768-SA7 to "balance out" the epaulets! |

| In my opinion, ovation has missed the design boat fore some time when it comes to epaulets.
Now that the finely sprang for the lazar cutter, they should try some metal epaulets. Copper, brass stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel, all can be acid etched, color case hardened, anodized , multi colored, antiqued, polished laminated and engraved. Someone just needs to think outside the box or ask the guys over at National to give them some ideas.

| Speaking of something a little different.
This is an idea I’ve been working on, off and on for the past couple of years. Not exactly, a new idea as the first string-less guitar was patented some 20 years ago as a kid’s toy. I posted some of my old original concept design drawings in my gallery.
