It seems that each and every one of my beautiful Ovations have scars... Some where scarred well before I came across them...some where scarred on their way to my home compliments of UPS/Fed Ex/DHL and the crew...some where scarred shortly after making into my caring, but clumsy hands... but all are scarred. I look at the ministry calling in my life, and the people I reach out to... they all have scars...Some where scarred by age, some where scarred by life choices, some where scarred by genetics...but all are scarred... and equally beautiful. God is good, and has a plan for all things.

Thanks for sharing...I think we help others more than we can ever know, when we are willing to share our pain and our joy. And a special thanks Al for this forum to do just that! Just think of how much good that happens through this board.

I hope I don't have one foot in the grave, but I've been talking to the kids about how they get the guitar that matches their age when I die or give up playing, whichever comes first. They think it's funny. They are still at the ages where they think they are immortal. Life is too short. Enjoy our family and friends as much as we can.

May I ask where you're from?" One of the guys stands up straight and declares, "We're from New Jersey!" "New Jersey? Really?" Peter seems dumbfounded for a moment, then says, "Please excuse me a moment." He goes upstairs to God and says, "There's three guys downstairs who want in. They say they're from New Jersey, but we've never had anyone from New Jersey before! What do I do?" God just smiles and says, "Well, let 'em in!" Peter goes back downstairs but in a moment God hears him cry out, "They're gone!" "The guys from New Jersey?" God inquires. "No, the Pearly Gates!!!"

Jesus sits there, reading the paper when a little old Italian man walks in, takes of his hat and politely sits down. Jesus says “Welcome to Heaven, How May I Help You?” In Italian, the old man relates that he’s come to Heaven to look for his son. Jesus asks him to describe what his son looks like. The old man tells him that the most distinguishing features are holes in his hands & feet. Jesus excitedly jumps up and shouts “. . Father!!! . .” The old man jumps up and shouts “. . Pinocchio!!!! . .
