I'm 19 and a college student, and money has been scarce for some time now...today I was evaluating my collection of instruments and realized that my Preacher is the most non-essential of the group. Thought I'd place an offer up on here, I'd much rather keep it 'in the family' and all that jazz. It's in good shape, all the hardware works. I've owned it for a couple years, previous owner took good care of it, but it does have some wear and tear from common use over the years. I'm going to post some photos later today if I can. It comes with a case, not OHSC, but it does the job nicely. Asking $400 obo. Please help the poor music student. :(

But still, I get to lie around all day when I'm not working and complain about paying rent and how little money I have and how my parents are such a drag...*sigh* life is harder than you might think at this stage. :p ( I hope you get my sense of humor, Mr. Dave.) As for guitars, I am as of late pretty well set off. I've got my trusty Balladeer LX, an Epiphone Masterbuilt Jumbo (technically I bought it for my brother but he never really uses it), and an old Balladeer 12-string for acoustics. Got some pretty sweet deals for the Epiphone and the 12-string thanks to Ebay. Electric wise, I've been blessed lately with several. Up until maybe four months ago I only had one electric, a Mexican Strat ( cream with a maple neck a la Hendrix). However, I now have on indefinite loan this great little guitar. I fixed it up for a friend of mine and he never really played it so he offered it to me...it's got no serial number, but it's made out of USA Fender parts, maple neck, natural finish, black pearloid pickguard (humbucker/single coil/humbucker). And I found this Peavy guitar at the thrift store for 20 bucks...it was in pretty rough shape, but I fixed it up and it's loads of fun. So yeah, out of all of those, the Preacher is the least essential guitar that I could actually get some decent money for. The rest all have alot of sentimental attachment for me (mexi strat used to be my dads, etc etc). I'd sooner live in a ditch than sell the rest of them. Sorry, that went a bit long. I've mostly lurked on this board for a looong time...I feel like part of the community, but I don't post very often. :)

| Joined: November 2004 Posts: 1374 | excuse me? if E. Sherman was referring to me... he's wrong.. I chose to purchase other guitars as is my right as a buyer and he has not contacted me since I asked for and received additional pictures nor was a sale from him arranged. I felt the guitar was not worth his asking price and others were available Lovehandles... I don't think that you have a dog in this fight..I hope your statement was in jest.. and ALL of my guitars have been paid for... in full... including the two I just got this week..one of which was again from another member here.. you guys are too much.. Later un-F*cking believable. Glenn | ||

I never heard directly from you at all...there was another person who contacted me soon after I posted this ( before Glenn was interested). We went through a long conversation, and he was interested, but then he disappeared, and then a couple weeks later asked if I had sent the guitar yet. No offense meant towards you. I'm not the type of person that would try and ruin somebodies reputation, especially without grounds. Eric
