Even if you don't, chime in and let me know what to expect to pay and don't mention the one on the BAY available from UK, already saw it. Thanks, -O-

Hey O

Depending on age, condition and colour and whether modified or not.

Do you want early with the single coils or later with thumbsuckers?

I would say average $6-$800

I just paid $1150 for a blue one but they are rarer

Thanks AJ. I'm looking for a black preferably and an older one that is a two scale? It's for a friend of mine that is scheduled to a gig that night. I don't know anything about this model other than its shape. So anyone that can direct me to this type (2 scale) please let me know. Seems they have gone up in price in the last four years, from 4 to 5 hundred dollars? -O-

I think your friend would be happier with the humbuckers. By 2 scale do you mean two-octave, as in 24 frets? That would be the case with any you'd find. As for the price, a decent one for $500? I think AJ's estimate is more likely.

Good luck.

I think that we all get Excited if we see one on evilBay for $500!

But then by the time the auction is over, it cost a bit more.

Mine's a Deacon Deluxe that is gloss black:

I have been thinking lately that I might sell it and work toward a Newport. You can shoot me a PM too if interested.

It's absolutely stunning in person. I was drooling over it for 2 days.

As long as we're posting BW pics, here's my bad boy:

All original, in phenomenal shape. I'd say it's a 9.5 out of 10. 1 or 2 extremely small dings, otherwise perfect.

But it was a birthday gift from my family, so I'll never part with it!

Does anyone really mind if this post goes from "anybody got?" to "complete BW/Deacon porn"?

Cuz I don't... :D

That's what I love about this site, ask for a little rain and it floods. Just hope I can purchase one of these. Stop with the teasing already.
