Can anyone tell me the worth/collectability of a vintage Adamas I in excellent/near mint condition (some fret wear) made in 1979?
(Beige same as Nancy Wilson played)

They don't have much value. Nobody wants them. But to be nice to a new member, I'll give you $100 for it, just to take it off your hands....

Yeah Right!!! At least offer him what he paid for it in '79....

GRM, is something you're looking to aquire, unload, or are you just teasing us? Post pics and watch what happens.

Hmmmm..."new" doesn't mean "born yesterday". I'll think I'll keep it for sentimental value.

Slot-Head:

Not really looking to sell it -not trying to tease either- just an honest inquiry on its value.

Great way to calm the huddling masses! Sounds like a wonderful thing to have.

My input is $2500 to $3500 unless you mean it is one of "the" Slotheads. This should be an interesting year to assess values!

My other offering is that it is worth any two guitars I have on my wall!

If you can post pictures or give a serial number we can all go nuts!

Peace and welcome!

One way to value it is to put it on ebay with an astronomical reserve.

When you find out how to post pictures, let me know. I'd say that the value is in the $1500-3000 range, at least that's what they were going for at the gas station, but that was three years ago before I sold it. (I think it should be worth $2500 just for the signature in it alone!)

Good plan to hold onto it.
