A great way to recycle spare parts!!

I think the varying color night light inside really helps to set the mood.

I can't wait for Honey to see it...

Guess you can no longer use darkness as an excuse not to play.

I was thinking the same thing, but I must admit, it looks deLIGHTful.

+3 on the "Gee? That actually looks like a Nice Guitar."

But like the title sez "Too many spare parts, too much free time!"

Is that a nonstandard sound hole config? Is that why it's now a lamp? If so, at least it looks cool!

Sweet! It would be really cool if one of the tuners was a dimmer switch. Perhaps an E string and then you could say things like "honey, would you set the light to drop D for me"

The body is a 93C with a Bubinga top that I made; nonstandard soundholes.
The neck is a 12-string that's unusable; the tuners are mismatches.
It does play if you mind the lampshade, the oak base balances the K-bar neck.

Interesting project!

How 'bout a pair of mini-floods on/in the base to highlight the Bubinga?

I think I've been in that room before. Excellent use of materials, Dawg.

Very cool lamp and creative use of spare parts! When are you going into mass production? :-)
