Had to see it and researched the back-alley near cult historians that relish the Made in Japan copies and such that went under names like Teisco, Kay, Winston, Decca, Harmony and onward. Many a first guitar were similar to this one: I believe it is a Teisco Del Ray EP probably 7-9. Interesting though. If it was the one you had as a Yoot and want it back shoot me a PM. I don't expect to get more than $145 for it. | ||

Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12761 Location: Boise, Idaho | Neck looks like it came off a Univox Ripper, which was a solidbody. I don't know too much about the Teiscos, which, like Univox, made a bunch of the "lawsuit" guitars in the 70s. I still miss my HR2, which was a Univox ES335 copy. | ||
