I think these were made by DeArmond, but might be JR's design.. needs a TRC.. and edit.. the pickup ring I have one of those.. it has a crack but it's all there. that's a NICE looking T'Head. Replace the surround, fix the switch (easy fix...) and you have a piece of history along with one of the few, if not the only, original Thunderhead cases still in existence. :) I would highly recommend getting a new case from Alpep and saving the one that comes with it.

I contacted the seller on this one and struck a deal with him...I am very excited about getting this guitar....Is the switch going to be easy to fix? and what about the pick up ring? He is shipping the guitar out today.. Keith

I hope not...The reason I agressively went after this guitar is because it is identical to the one my Dad had in the late sixties. He had to sell it to feed his punk kid,...ME!!. I did work out a deal with the seller and that is why he canceled the auction. I should receive the guitar by Monday of next week. This guitar will be my Dad's 70th Birthday gift on March 20th this year...I'm looking forward to seeing the look on his face when he get's it. I apoligize to anyone bidding on this guitar but at least it will stay in the OFC Family. Peace Keith
