Froggy Bottom guitars feature superb quality in materials and construction, along with curly maple binding, eight-ply top purfling, delicate three-ply mitered purfling on back and sides, gold schaller tuners, multi-colored herringbone rosette and backstripe, abalone headstock logo, bound headstock, abalone rosette and backstripe, and curly maple heelgrafts. and TKL American Vintage Series hard-shell case.

Manufactured in November 2001 and is in excellent condition. A FINGERPICKERS DREAM!

This one retailed for over $8000 and has Honduran Rosewood** back and sides with an Adirondack top. Florentine style cutaway, 1 3/4" neck and Scrimshaw Ivory heel cap.

Non-Bottom Feeders price $4200 including shipping CONUS
.

** Honduran Rosewood has grown very difficult to obtain. Denser than Indian rosewood, Honduran rosewood is well known for its excellent tonal properties. It compares very well to Brazilian rosewood, and there are many that claim it is superior, producing a very well-balanced guitar with fantastic projection and strong lows and highs. In fact, during the 50’s and 60’s the great Spanish makers considered it to be the only acceptable substitute to Brazilian Rosewood!

I've heard a lot of great things about Froggy's, but never got to play one. Good luck with the sale Stephen.

Yet another gorgeous one coming out of the stable. Like Slip said, I can't wait to see what you're picking up.

I didn't really expect to get a sale from this board but I decided to post it up anyway because there are some fanatical finger pickers who like the wider neck and this one has them both in spades.

The guitar I am getting is nothing out of the ordinary, just a Collings CJMhGSSSB but when I decided to get it I figured it was a good time to move out some of the guitars I knew it was going to replace.

So, I decided to sell the C10, the Taylor DDSm, the Froggy F12 and the Martin NB SE. One in and four out....works the plan perfectly and gets me one step closer to the final herd size.

Next will be the THD Univalve and cab, maybe another amp, some pedals, some electric guitars......I'm on a roll!

and in case no one noticed from the pictures, the F12 is the F-style Froggy guitar with .....

12 FRETS to the body!!!

and we all know how special the 12 fretters are.

I had a Froggy about ten years ago. Not as high end as this one but you want to talk about a complex sound, man it was /is something. I sold it to a good friend of mine so i still get to play it. I bought it used at a great price but its worth about $2500.00 more than that now.

Well this is one of those guitars that I really struggle with selling because it is such a great player and just sounds terrific.

If it doesn't sale it won't hurt my feelings to keep it and it loves hanging out with the Adamas, Taks and Collings!

Yeah, I found out they don't allow links to "other peoples guitars" over there. Only registered members are allowed to sell their own items, which I can respect.
