It's a painted on pick guard and all (most?) textured top Adamii have one. |

Location: Central Florida | Never black though. Usually pretty clear but they do yellow with age. Is that what you're asking about, PEZ? Shouldn't be any black spots on the top other than the sound holes.

On the other hand, when I got the 1581, I took it over to show GNATL. He said "It's got the snot blob!" like he was meeting someone famous. |
