Just wondering whose 2005 Collectors is pictured?....it doesn't appear to say "Collectors" on the truss rod cover like mine does. If anyone is interested, I know where there is a Book Elite (which I believe to be NOS, the shop used to be an Ovation dealer) in a shop in Indiana. The shop has a very high price (over $3000) on it, but if you want to see if you can get them to see the light.....e-mail me and I'll tell you where it is. I played it at length; even though the strings were quite dead, it sounded very good. Roger

Makes me shed a tear for when I played the one they had at Elderly Instruments and $1400 seemed like such a LARGE sum of money for a guitar at that time(I had barely gotten back into playing and even $500 seemed a lot then)....... If you want SOUND, the FD-14 is the real deal, if you want bling, get a Al DiMeola Custom Legend (and still get good sound, just not quite as good as a FD-14). Roger
