At this rate, you guys are going to force me to get a Facebook acct (against my better judgement.)
I feel like I'm missing too many photos and too much info by not being able to access Facebook.

(Most links to Facebook seem to require a log-in.) :-(

I fought the facebook thing for a long, long time then realized that's how a lot of family keeps in touch.
So, I caved.
But I limit family & friends to 50.
If I bring someone in... someone else gets the axe.
.
Don't mess with that guy from Detroit.

When my teenage daughter wanted to sign up for Facebook I signed up first. That way I could make sure she set her security settings up the way she should. Now that she's a Junior in college she even decided to "friend'" me. I'm still on Facebook and it's handy for looking at stuff like the Ovation Facebook page. I only check mine about once a week (far less than I check OFC website). And some of my family are on it so I get their updates.

You can easily live without it. But if you find a reason for it you can sign up lock down your security settings and only really use it when you want to.

I've never signed up, but I check my wife's almost every day. Our oldest daughter is a prolific poster, but rarely calls or writes, so it was the only way we could keep track of her when she moved. It's taking me too long to scroll past all the posts by people who are strangers to me, but might be "friends" of my wife or their friends. I may have to open my own facebook account just to limit my friends and block all the cat, dog, llama (no, not from Cliff) and political junk that she gets every day.

I signed up to Facebook almost two years ago, mainly for music activities.

My profile says very little about me because you never know who is looking at you.
