I do pretty much exactly what you're asking for with Guitar Pro. Many of the GP files on the tab sites have the full band, not just the guitar piece |

I found this awhile back. None of the bells and whistles you want but quite useful for me. They have several genres to choose from... very full site with incredible resources.

You can pick and choose which instruments you want to include or exclude in the backing track And download it as an mp3. And you can keep going back and rearrange it and download it again. Pretty good selection of tunes too. |

Location: Flahdaw | There's a guy that does this here in town. He sucks, but he is hired on a consistent basis, and the audience (who doesn't know any better) thinks he's great. You could download enough songs on your MP3 player for 3 sets, be a one man band, and you're good to go. |
