Random quote: “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato

I just wanted everyone to know that stonebobbo reached out to me in an email regarding words we had over the guitar sent to Iraq. Unfortunately when reading a post you can't tell the person's tone of voice or read their body language, so it makes it easy to misinterpret the intent. I really appreciate his email and respect him for sending it. We have put the issue behind us and are moving forward as friends. Hopefully everyone else can do the same. Thanks, bobbo.

cool.
This kind of communication can be tricky.
It does not always read the way it was written.
Especially when passion is involved.

Good news! I would like to say something also. Anyone I have offended on this site either through printed word or things I've been rumored to say, or pictures I have posted,....

GET OVER IT! :D

Beal,

You really need to get back down in the south.

It's starting to warm up. The past two days in the low 90's.

I'm glad this was resolved.
I appreciate everybody on this forum and don't want to be a cause, deliberate or otherwise, of friction amongst the membership.

There is too much good coming out of our little world here to let a simple misunderstanding cripple it in any way. Jack and I we were just after the same thing ... being loyal to and looking out for our brothers (and sisters). When passion gets involved, things can spin out of control quickly ... but we can also reign them in quickly if we forget about who is right and who is wrong and just focus on coming back together. Because we pretty much all have the same goals and dreams around here. We can never forget we are a community of people ... and sometimes as people we do dumb things. Being human is OK when we all accept that it's OK to be human. I'm looking forward to that cold one with you, Jack.

Bobbo, Jack, et al,

Guilty, for stoking the furnace!

Bobbo, my dear buddy,
I'm guilty of having a 'hair trigger' and need to click that 'safety' on (i.e. PMs & Email). I've enjoyed your and Kim's company and should have known that I focused on the 'flag' words.

Jack,
Your 'gift' is still staggering in it's generosity! Yo da man...

I'm relieved that there was a follow up post. Again, it just demonstrates the family atmosphere that is one of the highlights of the OFC.

Now... if I'm in the neighborhood when ya'll share that brew, my dime!

P.S. A special thanx to a long time member (not directly involved) that sent me the heartfelt and only PM re the original post that tempered my temper. J, you're AOK, even though I've only met ya once!
