It seems there are fewer quality instruments, and the ones that do show up are being listed at premium prices. Craig's List down here in Austin doesn't list many, and those listed are usually Korean models with high prices. I also notice less older guitars for sale here on the forum. | ||

I thought the first one was cheap and the second a bit high. I've been looking at Vipers recently, too, and they seem to be offered or selling for more than they were a couple years ago. Craiglist Ovations around here are usually overpriced Celebrities and an occasional USA model that is often misadvertized. With fewer new USA models coming to market every year, maybe the used values are going up, but I haven't noticed too much difference. | ||
