Don\'t throw it out... aka the Freecycle Rag!~ and his videos of other performances at other events with our groups.. Summer Save it event Bob has been an entrant/contestant on Nashville Star for several years now... just never makes it to the big show... he is a great friend of ours and has been a regular performer on the local cruise ships/gambling boats in our area for years... Sterling lines who he was working for just pulled out of Canaveral, so he lost that regular gig, and is now back to doing the Club and Tavern scene in Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, and Daytona. Marsha Barton, my wife's right arm and moderator for the non-profits and .orgs we run, and very wonderful lady organized this event for my wife and to help with the mountain of Hospital, Doctor, medical, lab, and prescription bills that have about buried us... Florida Today Help! Column Doug is our local columnist and one of our freecycle group members and supporters. weekend insert story by Ms. Sonnenburg Hometown News Article we started setting up for tomorrow about 5 am this morning, and there are a couple of tons of items available, most free or make offer, and lots of it is really really nice... slydog's running the grill, and the entire neighborhood will be having their own yard sales, plant sales, and bake sales as well, and it is a Township and County supported and fun time family event for all.... anyway.... if you're in the neighborhood... Stop on in!! and plug it in with the rest of us. Glenn

This was to be expected and was foreseen by the cardiologist as part of and resulting from the stent procedure on the carotid, when they opened it back up(about a 95% blockage) this reduced her blood pressure, and as her BP is now much lower than it has been over many years it will take some time for her system to adjust... we are making adjustments to her medications, and hopefully with more rest and proper diet and exercise these symptoms will start to reduce, and she will get more of her mental faculties back... when she returned home on the Monday prior to the event she was actually able to type, send e-mail, converse without struggling, and hold on to her train of thought, but currently that is not the case, and is again back to about the same condition as she was several days after the stroke... her strength, appetite, and wakefulness and alertness are fine, and she is maintaining a regular sleep schedule, but her symptoms are very much like an Alzheimer's patient. she is eating well, and in good spirits, she will be seeing her nephrologist, and her neurologist next week as a follow up to the stent procedure, and in preparation for her open-heart surgery and/or stents as a hybrid/combined operation which will be taking place in about 4 or 5 more weeks as long as her strength continues to improve. if her stroke symptoms, confusion, and mild dementia continue to elevate over the next couple of days, she will be going back to and be re-admitted to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Thanks for all of your prayers, well wishes, and support, and please keep the prayers and good thoughts coming.. and keep your fingers crossed for her... Glenn

I'll get you all the room number as soon as I have it. gotta get some rest.. Thanks, Glenn

Char and Glenn both appreciate the cards a lot. > > Many thanks, > Nancy > Thank You Nancy, and thank you to all of her friends here, SIG, RIN, FCearth, Freesharing, Pay it Forward, and all of the other networks, as well as her many friends and supporters still in TFN. I'm going to get a little nap if I can, and will be going up later today, and then spending the night with her in the hospital. as posted to our groups today,,, if you are a member with us you've already seen this. Thank you all... Glenn Re: BrevardCountyFreecycle-RS Admin: Char's condition, and ALL ITEMS ARE GONE... From: Gvandtk@... Sent: Sat 8/09/08 3:46 PM To: glennahesssr@... Hang in there Glenn, my prayers are with you and Char. God Bless You Two! Reene (from up north - CT) In a message dated 8/9/2008 2:45:19 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, glennahesssr@... writes: if I have contacted you and told you that I was holding them for you... if you said you were gonna be here, and didn't show up or let me know why.... or schedule another time... they have now been given to others. I have several SMALL items and computer parts, electronics, etc... that are still here, and these members were conscientious enough to let me know that they were delayed, or lost, or something came up... and all is good with you.. please pick up as promised. Thank You! To ED Donges, and his wife and son(again), Jason, The Members who wished to remain anonymous, and the fine lady with the Truck and Trailer that took all of the remaining items and hutch. and all others who showed up. The shelters are currently being dis-assembled, cleaned, and wrapped and packed. Re: Charlotte, she is still very confused, combative, and semi-uncooperative, they have sedated her, and she is having a dye contrast study done today, an echo on the stent that went in last week, and more tests, bloodwork, and other scans and evaluation. if her kidneys are failing, that has never been un-anticipated, and with her polycystic kidney disease and her liver and spleen being sympathetic, it was only a matter of time anyway, and the procedures and surgery increased the risk and stress on them.... the big issue is the stroke and her mental faculties, and hopefully they can get her back to where she was when she returned home on the Monday before the yardsale, and 3 days after the stent procedure, but some plaque may have broken loose during the procedure and caused further brain damage as well... they have her on heparin, and as I said, will be doing many more tests today. I got her calmed back down, her daughter Jessica who was at the Check out table for the sale is with her now, as well as the other Daughter Kelly who took the pictures and helped out, along with Char's new Baby Grand-Daughter.. Lydia Lynne Rindge.. soon to be a year old.. She seems to understand why she's back in the hospital, and has agreed to let the Doctors and Nurses treat her, and do all that they feel is necessary... Her son Ryan and his wife are on their way down from Georgia later this week as soon as they can get away from work. Thanks All for the Quick Response and Help.... and I apologize for blasting everyone before.. Keep the prayers and e-cards for Char coming... and Thank you all for being members and friends and neighbors to us and each others for all of these years as Brevard, Cocoa, Space Coast, Melbourne, and PAFB Freecycle-RS... The FIRST and Original Freecycling Groups for our area! Thank You All again, Glenn and Char
