Dear Friends,
I have been fortunate enough to secure an additional copy of the book " The History of the Ovation Guitar" by Walter Carter (in softcover). I would like to offer this to other fan club members if any are interested. This book is in used condition no writing or marks on any pages; no torn or damaged pages; the pages are tight, bright, no discolorations or odors. There are two creases on the corner of the back cover and some shelf wear aroud edges. A nice used "no problem book". It is not new or mint condition: just a nice copy if you are looking for one. Cost is $70. includes shipping in the continental US. I would prefer Postal Money Order for payment. Please contact me to reserve or for more information. Thanks for your consideration.

Well, here's a good banjo question.
Where is Debanjo mentioned in the book and how is it a complete joke?

Way to go, Beal. Do you know how many OFCers are going to run home tonight and scan their entire book to find this little tidbit? I can name one.

At least two here. Page 104 with a bunch of other names I recognize, but, as usual, I don't get the joke.

I found it, too. But as far as the joke... other than he's primarily a banjo player...

You found what? there are two and you need to find both, in context to get it. Then tell me.

Let Waskel do it. He's got an extra hour on me, unless he still goes to work in the middle of the night.

Since the one with the scribbling inside is obviously worthless now, you could go ahead and send it to me for the cost of shipping.

I've got a copy still in the plastic wrap that I was going to have Beal sign. I keep forgetting to bring it when I see him. Oh well, someday...

Good thinking Jim! Then when ya want to sell it for top dollar, ya just rip off the cellophane with the autograph. Wallah...
