Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12759 Location: Boise, Idaho | I bet not. The Matrix bowl just has the holes for the 2 bolts. You'd have to cut the bowl to fit the other type of neck. Maybe possible, but not easy and if you ruin the bowl trying to set the neck, you're hosed. | ||

Joined: July 2006 Posts: 149 Location: gods country..west virginia | its playable and sounds good for a $90 yard sale find, the action is kinda high but not to high that its unplayable. only thing it needs is a saddle and a refinish job,no cracks in the top just finish cracks...i can live with the action. thanks jason. i got 2 of them any how. the other needs machines. | ||

Then use a medium set of strings but put the .052 (or whatever) in place of the "A" and so on. Tune BEADF#E for a Poor Man's Baritone. | ||

Joined: July 2006 Posts: 149 Location: gods country..west virginia | i used my old d.l from west virginia, the first few frets had some wear on them and the action was so low you couldnt get a clear note out of it. i set it i bit higher and it sounds great now..looks like shit but sounds great. | ||
