It's in mint condition and has never been left out of its case. I dont think the original owner play it much if at all. I've played it a little and I love it but I think I should just stick with the 6 string guitars. I would appreciate any information. Thanks

My ballpark estimate, fwiw, is $150 and maybe more since it has a case. My suggestion is that you check to an eBay search for your model under completed auctions and see if any have sold and for how much. Do remember that sometimes people pay crazy prices on eBay, so an unusually high winning bid doth not a market trend predict. By the way, welcome to the club.

Yes, I know its a discontinued series and that is why I feel it has to have some significant value. I sure wouldnt sell it for such a cheap price as that unless I was starving! Hopefully there are others out there who may have an opinion on its value, I'd like to hear from them also. Thanks, DD

Unfortunately, a non US Ovation 12-string is not going to excite many on the OFC, even if it plays well. Hopefully, I am wrong. This may be one that can sell easier on eBay.

A few weeks ago a 1982 USA Ovation Pacemaker in good shape sold for 450. Your guitar is not USA made, has a laminated top instead of a solid spruce top. It might get a bit more than 150 for looks but, I wouldn't expect to get much more.

I will just hope to sell it for enough to make a decent payment toward a nice 6 string Ovation. I really love these guitars and I plan on havin' one somehow. DD

See Dazey, you just tell folks here what you want and they'll find you something way better for a better price. At least I think that's how it works, my 1537 comes Tuesday... I'll let you know then!

If funds are far from full - Lean toward an Elite T or a Balladeer LX. If you can jump in around $700-$1000 I would see what kind of newer O Alpep can locate for you! In my profile you'll see a picture of some old big guy playing one. It is the most flexible instrument I have ever played! Fingerpicking, strumming, soft or hard.

I thank you for your suggestions cause I really dont know that much about Ovation guitars only that I like them alot. I played one at a music store once and fell in love with it... thats when I knew I had to have one. It's just a matter of time and money but it will happen... I'm a patient person! DD
