| Joined: April 2007 Posts: 225 Location: Stow, Ohio | Well here is my Takamine It's a Takamine GX-100 Solid body with neck thru construction. Yup, Takamine made Solid Bodies in the 80's for about 5 minutes. This is the second one I have owned, the first I had when I was in the USMC back in the 80's, it was cream colored. I got this one off Ebay for $185.00 and since it was an hour away I picked it up and paid for it in person. pickups are the original Dimarzios. Has a narrow neck and action to die for. If you see any Takamine Solid bodies one Ebay, try one, they are great guitars. definately a treat to have. ![]() | ||

I think the pics are still in my OFC gallery. Unfortunately, I sold it to Glenn for his kid and the delivery wagon broke the neck to where it become unfixable. Kinda sad....it was a great guitar for what it was. I also owned the 200 and the 300 series but did not like them nearly as much. | ||
