These Bluegrass Models (340 is mahogany and 360 is rosewood) are just about the best dreads that Takamine ever built, but they only built them for a few years. This is a great chance to grab one. Big dread bluegrass sound and nice wide neck. Immaculate build quality. | ||

Joined: January 2006 Posts: 5881 Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | After playing Beal's 760 at Amelia, I just had to have one, so I ordered a custom with a bunch of upgrades through Al. That was back when Mike Markure was the GM for Tak North America. He personally helped pick out the bear claw spruce top at the factory and kept sending me emails about it. Those were great times. I also installed the Triax sound hole pup and run a blend of about 75% CoolTube2 and 25% Triax. The amount of gain coming out of that guitar is spectacular. Love these Taks. | ||
