ball end wears out bridge opening?

And then do the nylon-string trick with your steel-string ball-end. That will make the ends larger, plus lessen the wear until you figure-out a Real repair. Hope that helps! Note the wire extends a little wider the strings to make good contact with the bridge as well as all the ball ends. You'll be ripping out those string tubes... ;) | ||
