I think it was Roy Clark who was most known for playing an Ovation...but, if it's he, why the past tense? Isn't he still alive and playing?

I never saw Roy sing and play at the same time. Maybe that had to do with how he gets his whole body, including his mouth, working on the guitar playing. Watch his jaw work while he's going at it.

Alive and well in Branson, MO...I met him in 1990...very nice guy ; he played and really liked my 1758-6...

He doesn't stop with burnin' up a guitar either. He's just as well versed on fiddle, banjo and mandolin... probably several other instruments also. MULTI-talented!
