She's picking up most of Wish You Were Here and Sunshine Of Your Love pretty quick. When she is here, my 1112 is a stranger to me! I think I'm Your Captain will be next. God love her, she's blowing on some burning fingertips right now! Back when I started, I fumbled through simple stuff like Song Sung Blue.

And thanks, my Lili is an amazing kid. Friggin straight A's, plays violin, keyboard, flute and guitar! Also makes a kick butt marinade for elk steaks, will out-eat most anyone in alligator tail or crab legs. Wish I had her metabolism. If I even look at half that, I gain 15 lbs.

OK, the oldest went astray and bought her own Ibanez because her guitar teacher didn't like those "plastic bowl" guitars. ![]()

I could't resist getting her an Adamas for graduation. A Preacher Deluxe showed up with her name on it at one point. I don't think she or the wife have caught onto the hidden bonus to me.

Just like our daughters, Sara reaps the benefits of participating in the conspiracy. And as long as they enjoy something that Dad also enjoys, why not? I didn't get anything out of their American Doll collections. Rent "Whip It" when you get a chance. It's about a daughter rebelling against beauty pagents in favor of roller derby, but it kind of addresses that father daughter thing.
