This is a perfect example of a seller who is clueless as how to sell/market a guitar. Lousy photos and the description harps too much on the lack of a pick-up.

Nice guitar anyway.

Very poor marketing. No bids even at $300. Wonder why ???

sold for $229.00. My 1117 is a great guitar, I wouldn't sell it that cheap, and it's probably in worse shape.

That's a great deal for the buyer. The 80's 1117 models have fantastic acoustic tone.

A better ad would have upped the price by about $100.

I'm curious about this because I thought that the two pins on the bridge usually indicated a Celebrity. Could this have been repaired? Were these ever used on new USA models? Could someone have replaced the label?

Hello there "bad golfer." You got a great deal. Anyone who knows how to sell on eBay would have gotten over $300 for the guitar. I hope it's in nice shape when you get it.

There used to be lots of US made O's with two bolts in the bridge. The spacing is different on Celebrity models (wider apart?). My 1755 12 string has 3 bolts on the bridge. The bridge on the new models is attached a different way, so there's no bolts, but back in the 80's I think that most US O's had the two bolts.

Yup. Like he said, they had bolts. Some bridges had wooden plugs over the bolts so they weren't quite so obvious. Dave

My 1651 Legend Limited has two bolts apparently plugged with the same material (pearl/pearloid?) used for the fret markers.

New strings and a dab of glue to some neck binding and we have a happy camper with guitar. Guitar was way better than expected for $260.00 to my door. It was packed well enough that the fedex folks could do no damage despite their best efforts.
